General Usage Instructions

Dowel Joint creates a dowel joint between two boards. This add-in allows you to specify the dimensions of the joint and the quantity of dowels or spacing. It is particularly useful in woodworking.

Steps:

1. Press the Dowel Joint button in the Modify panel.
2. Select a board to cut holes for dowels.
3. Select a face to cut holes.
4. Specify the dowel diameter, hole depth, dowel length, location type, spacing or number of dowels and offsets.
5. To create constrained geometry check the Constrained checkbox. The constrained geometry calculates longer, but it better follows the changes in the board and face dimensions.
6. Press the OK button.
