General Usage Instructions

Find and Replace finds and replaces text in names of components, bodies, sketches, part numbers, joints or timeline objects. This add-in allows you to specify text to find and replace. It has options to include components, bodies, sketches, part numbers, joints, timeline objects, hidden entities, and match case.

Steps:

1. Press the Find and Replace button in the Add-Ins panel.
2. Enter text to find and replace.
3. Specify components, bodies, sketches, part numbers, joints or timeline objects.
4. Check the Include Hidden checkbox to replace the text in names of hidden entities.
5. Check the Match Case checkbox to replace the text with the same case.
6. Check the Preview checkbox to preview the names.
7. Press the OK button.
