General Usage Instructions

Loose Tenon Joint creates a loose tenon joint between two boards. This add-in allows you to specify the joint dimensions and quantity of tenons or spacing. It is particularly useful in woodworking.

Steps:

  1. Press the Loose Tenon Joint button in the Modify panel.
  2. Select a board to cut slots for tenons.
  3. Select a face on the other board to cut slots through the face.
  4. Specify the tenon thickness and width, slot depth, tenon length, location type, spacing or number of tenons and offsets.
  5. To create constrained geometry check the Constrained checkbox. The constrained geometry calculates longer, but it better follows the changes in the board and face dimensions.
  6. Press the OK button.
