General Usage Instructions

Shelf Holes creates shelf holes in a cabinet. This add-in allows you to specify the hole dimensions and offsets or spacing. It is particularly useful in woodworking.

Steps:

  1. Press the Shelf Holes button in the Modify panel.
  2. Select a face to cut holes for shelfs.
  3. Select the front edge of the selected face.
  4. Select the bottom edge of the selected face.
  5. Select the face opposite the selected face.
  6. Specify the hole diameter, hole depth, row spacing, location type, front offset, back offset or column spacing, top offset and bottom offset.
  7. Check the Center Vertically checkbox to center the holeset vertically.
  8. Check the Constrained checkbox to create constrained geometry.
  9. Check the Find Edges checkbox to find the front edge, bottom edge and opposite face automatically. The face has to be in the YZ plane to find the edges automatically.
  10. Press the OK button.
